Wordless Wednesday

I have to say this picture is from a few days ago guys ! .. I have had three bloggers say how nice it would be to have snow like it looks in my picture ... I am red faced now ;-) LOL

I did the same thing, only with words! Nice to see snow on *someone's* garden. Happy Christmas, Joy, from bare-naked Toronto (in a snowy sense, that is).

Hi Joy, Christmas is one of those time of year when snow is welcome. It looks however as if we are destined to have a green Christmas.
I see in an earlier post that sage has always been very hardy for you. I have never had great luck overwintering it, but last year I had a plant make it through. Next year will be its third season. I am wondering if I should cut it back in spring to give it a new lease on life or leave it on its own. What do you usually do?

Hi Buttons .. this was a "cheat" picture from a few days ago .. we have no snow at the moment .. sorry girl!

Jennifer girl I never used to think of sage as a problem being a perennial .. all of them usually came back for me .. I do clean them up in the Spring , cut away the older dried out bits to give the new growth more room to set up in.
I am going to concentrate on having more herbs in the "disaster" zones that are so hot and dry .. most herbs love being treated badly ? LOL !

Hey Joy... no matter what, this pic looks delightful! Cheers!

Well, a week ago there was almost one foot of snow in my garden and now there is absolutely none. Things change, and isn't that just the beauty of it all?

(I DO hope we get some snow again in time for Christmas, though... It seems there's a 50/50 chance!)

Well, it's not photo-shopped so there's no reason for being red-faced! So pretty--just in time for the holidays. Even if it did melt. :)
