Shadow Shot Time

We are still in the midst of a huge upheaval in our little nest ..
Number One Son's possessions are spread throughout the house since he no longer has "his" cave.
The old cave is now bright and fresh and newly carpeted ... ahhhhhh ! what a delight it is ..
Parents with adult "kids" that stayed in the nest much longer than ever dreamed , get what I am saying!!
Soon the visa and passport will arrive and there will be a lot of scurried activity to pack up the vehicles and head down south for the big road trip and very changed life style !

Meanwhile back on track? ..  it is shadow shot time and I have to reach into the archives to find a calm peaceful shot to sooth the over active routine we have been on.
Here is one of my favorite shots .. soft dappled light, with shadows that range from equally blurred to sharp.
For those gardeners out there, this is "Red Majestic Corkscrew Hazel" a very special find last year and I am really curious about the "catkins" for this Spring .. hoping to capture some photos of them.

Be sure to click on the icon to visit amazing shadows from all over the world .. shadow shooters have been busy!!

We have two here, so I understand that...although we aren't at the visa and long drive with them stage yet! I wish spring were here in earnest, so the look at the warm garden days are always appreciated. 8°C is 46°F, we will be at 55°F tomorrow. Would like it to be warmer, but it is the end of March...Happy Easter!

I can relate to the adult "kid" situation. Our youngest graduated in December and moved back in with us. Let's say it's been an adjustment for us all.

Nice shadows you captured there!

I totally understand the whole thing! I am waiting patiently I may add for my daughter/husband to move out(-: Hopefully by July...August???? Son in Law is at school though most of the week, but I dream of having my house clean and orderly!!!(-:
I can dream right? New carpet...freshly cleaned and organized room? Ahhhh what a wonderful thought...(-: We won't mention the dog hair(-:
Hope you are having a nice Easter! I am not sure what ours will be like my dad was in the ER on Friday and I am thinking he might be going again today....)-: So just waiting patiently again for any calls that might come in....

Sounds like there will be a little more room in your house soon? I love those corkscrew hazels, so much interest going on from the funny crinkly leaves to the twisting stems.
