Shadow Shot Time

Here it is Shadow Shot time (full of "time" play on words) yet again ...
This month seems to be flying by some times, and yet not other times ... so catching my clock just at the right time when the sun actually was shining ... a mini miracle in itself ! .. was just right.
I love the curly "Q's" in the old fashioned design, and they were perfect in it's shadow self as well.
I think I am obsessed with time and clocks at certain times in my life ... maybe the influence of "catching" shadows has more meaning for me because they are so fleeting .. all shadow shooters must feel that I think?
In any case make sure to click on the SS II icon and visit the literal world of shadow shooters !

This is a lovely, peaceful shadow shot, but I'm guessing you have tons of snow outside.

Puns are always appreciated :)

The old clock is a beauty, its slender wire construction stately yet elegant. On the other hand, the shadow looks more massive and heavy. All those effects due to the sun's angle. Light or heavy, the subject and shadow make for nice artistic shots!

Hope winter in the GWN winds down soon...

That's the cutest little clock. What did my Grandma, and Mom always call them, Dutch ... clokje?

Lovely shadow shot, my dear. But, your banner photo, dang girl, I always have to catch my breath, they're sooooo pretty and this one is no exception. I'm so ready for spring. I hope you're getting some thaw. Hugs.

I have a thing for clocks too. I don't know what it is about them I love- the graphic nature of the clock face maybe- but I have more clocks in this house than we would ever need to keep track of time.

Thank you so much Gracie girl !
We are up to our arm pits in snow and cold ... this is going to be one hell of a struggle to have Spring actually arrive in the great white north this year .. BIG sigh !

Hello Jennifer and I have such a fascination with clocks it is ridiculous .. yes, more clocks than we know what to do with ! LOL
