My box of goodies and other treasures .......

My box of goodies .... still waiting to be planted ... we are having a lot of wet weather but I hope to have my treasures situated soon ! .. lots of "Ellagance" lavender .. rosemary, curly parsley, rockcress, bellflower and Voodoo stonecrop ( now who could resist that one ?)
I have so many chores to get done it sends chills up my spine (or is that thinking about getting up the ladder again ?)

Another treasure ?
Cole's Prostrate Hemlock ... the hefty price ticket item I invested in last year ..
Another chills up the spine occasion in my life!

The Goldfinches are having a blast stuffing their little beaks full of new Niger seed ... yet they want to drink out of the reservoir for the water feature that needs FRESH water .. unlike the nice clean birdbath?
Go figure? ... they are our treasures though ... we love watching that unbelievable bright yellow colour and their crazy antics.
I have been waiting a few years for Midnight Oil bearded iris to show off those amazing "black" flowers. Fingers crossed for this year perhaps ???
You have to show me some year  ... right?
So .. a few of my goodies and treasures ..

Lovely treasures for your garden. I just can't wait for some nicer (dryer and warmer) weather to arrive.

I've planted so many things this spring, and yet there are so many more just waiting to planted. Just when I thought I'd catch up, I got a huge treasure box full of freebies from Proven Winners! I was excited and overwhelmed at the same time. I've got a little tip for you on the iris. They don't bloom very well when their crown is buried. I can see yours is buried, so uncover it a bit. They'll be so grateful.
