Garden renovations took all season for some reasons ... it rained more than normal, materials got ploughed under ... loads of reasons in any case.
What did happened eventually was two new sections of fences at the 8ft mark, ahhhhh! privacy!
And ? ... limestone pathways around the gardens ... so this is something of what went on.
I wanted to do a much better job of comparing pictures before and after but I just couldn't get my brain to cooperate with what my artistic side wanted ? haha
So I threw these together for the heck of it and there it is.
The garden is not looking it's best this time of year but hopefully if I get all my clean up and chores done this will look darn good in the Spring .... fingers crossed ! Tah Dah !!

Oh My Gosh- That is just gorgeous! What a wonderful, inspired redo of your yard. It belongs in a magazine somewhere. Just think next Spring all the big work will be done and you can just enjoy it all. xo Diana
Wow, spectacular, Joy! The results are gorgeous. You know me, I'm not a fan AT ALL of lawns, and this really appeals to me. Your garden is stunning no matter the season.
I think it all looks wonderful ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good week !
It looks wonderful! Much easier to deal with than grass. :o)
Hello Diana girl and thank you : )
It needs some tweaking still but the main work is done .. phew !
Now to groom it all with the plants which is the fun side eh ? LOL
Hello there Martha girl, thank you ! .. yes we are both of the same mind .. there is a tiny patch of lawn in the front so John does it in mere seconds? haha
Hi there Elaine and thank you ... it is a quiet gray day here .. supposed to have some rain .. but still fairly warm ... that will change soon !
Tammy girl hello there and thank you and yes! grass is way too greedy with water so I am happy to get rid of it all ;-)
So much work--it looks great. I can't wait to see it all next spring. It will be beautiful!
Who doesn't enjoy a good before and after? Transformations are always such fun to see! They're also inspirational. It must have been such a pain to work the lawn mover down those grass paths. So much easier now I am sure. All the hard work certainly paid off.
Hi Zoey girl ! ... I am going to be one impatient gardener for Spring to pop over here and we haven't even gotten into December yet ? haha
Jennifer girl I never really mowed the grass it was always John and he never complained about it .. but now it is such a small patch in the front it is ridiculous ... I wonder if I can use that up too ? LOL
Gorgeous Garden. Love the walkway and Garden Gate. Before and after pics are great. your garden had evolved into a spectacular place.
My goodness, what a transformation! I can't wait to see it next year during the garden prime time.
Well thank you so much girl ... it has been quite an evolution from nothing to SOMETHING indeed .. LOL
Robin that is what I am looking forward to as well .. even with the thought of having to get some one in the Spring to stabilize some of the pathway rocks .. it won't be such chaos as it was this year, fingers crossed !
