Brenda .. you are so right .. there is something about them .. even though this cat should not be in my garden .. I can't help but admire him/her ?

That black cat has come to visit Sophie and Emma ... or it has come for a Halloween treat.

and who doesn't love a black cat?!!

Have you met Coal, my black cat? Is this cat perhaps just a visitor, passing through or choosing you? Cats choose their people sometimes! Uh oh..Emma and Sophie might not like a yard cat!

Very Cute.
Question...
Do you go by the name of "Joy"?

Hi Patsi .. thanks ! yes .. my real name is Joy, and I always got teased about it for Xmas etc .. that dish soap as well, BIG sigh ! haha

Kylee .. I'm not sure if it is a he or a she .. since it is my "neighbor's cat .. but I really think a nice big picture of Lola and a pumpkin would be terrific to see ? LOL

Gail .. I was thinking especially of you and Coal, when I found this poem to go with this picture .. I thought it was too cute to pass up ? .. Sophie and Emma are still in that "kid" phase when they think any thing that moves on the deck is FUN ? haha

Diane ... I was just thinking that too .. this guy/gal is such a beauty .. I feel badly that it is owned by idiots though ..

Hi Cameron .. I think I'm try to kick start the Halloween machine in me ? LOL

Crafty .. this black cat has a special sense about it .. I can't put my finger on it .. maybe he knows I am besotted ? with him ?LOL

I've got no pumpkins, but I've got Lola (and Boo, too!), so I'll have to work on that. I agree...we need a pumpkin and black cat pic at Our Little Acre! :-)

Handsome cat, obviously conducting his own garden tour. My all-black, giant Stanley is pictured in my sidebar, along with the "triplets" and Lucy-Maude. All my cats are indoor felines, adopted from my own backyard. Every so often, Stanley tries to run out the front door, to conduct a similar garden tour./Deb

Deb .. I had to go back to your blog (your pictures are always so striking !) and check out all the "kids" .. Lucy is so darn cute .. the triplets so different in ways with each other .. I'm sure Sophie would take a shine to Arnold because she loves her food like he must ? LOL .. Kipper and Jake are very handsome and of course Stanley .. guys need to be told that a lot ? LOL
I'm always glad to hear they are indoor kitties .. even with escape attempts to monitor the garden ? : ) .. they are safe & sound ! .. I worry about this black beauty .. his owners are well, I have already said that ? LOL

Joy ~ That was so nice of you to check out the "kids!" Pretty obvious they like their vittles, isn't it? They are a mellow bunch of boys, but Lucy deserves kudos for coexisting so peacefully with them... probably why she enjoys going to work at the garden center with her mom, so very much! Who knows? Maybe the boys enjoy a couple of dog-free days, as well. I completely agree about "indoors only" for cats!/Deb

Deb .. your "kids" look so happy and healthy .. but we all know .. girls NEED girl time and boys need ? TV ? haha
Lucy is one lucky little girl to get to go to work with mom .. the boys probably have little cat smiles on their faces when you two leave ? LOL
