Frost Crystals in the Air !
I don't know if the pictures will show how absolutely strange it was to walk through a fog that was crystallizing and at the same time rapidly disappearing with the stronger light of the sun chasing it down .. it was amazing to walk through it !

How magical! We had our first heavy frost last night -- my geraniums finally got bitten. :(

We called this ice fog when I lived in Germany. A common occurrence in the valley where we lived. It was cool. I forgot to tell you I must keep the Canadian nickel as my son would have it no other way. Sorry:) It is a treasure for him. Hubby said he knew we were in Maine when he got a Canadian nickel worth less than an American nickel. He'll be okay though.

More amazing photos! Brrr - makes me shiver. We've been down in the thirties at night, but no hard frost, yet. Still have bumblebees on the cosmos, but they're definitely a bit sluggish. ~ Deb
Deb .. I missed having Cosmos this year .. I put the seed down but nothing happened .. another DARN !!
I bet the bumblebees are a bit dozy is right .. they better get back to the hive and snuggle in !

We saw some awesome weather in Holland .. scary stuff when we were driving some VERY narrow roads in Austria in icy Spring condtions there .. so I have an idea what yours was like .. no matter where we are weather is always a topic ! LOL
