Joy, this and the previous series of sunrise photos are glorious! You sure catch some beautiful skies. Just try to keep focusing on the beauty and you'll get through the current stressful situation. Poor girl..I don't envy you. Remind me never to have a new porch put on! Actually we did not too long ago, after the old one blew off the house in a microburst. I think that was '93. Thankfully, the building went smoothly. Keep your chin up!

Hi Cindee .. hey I need to get over to your place and see that picture girl ! Some very interesting clouds can happen this time of year : )

Thank you Keewee !

Hi Kerri .. Thank you girl ! A smooth renovation seems like a fairy tale to us now .. haha .. what on earth happened ? .. a microburst of extreme weather and wind is what I am thinking ?
Those are scary things !!
My chin is up girl : )

Hi Debbie .. thanks girl .. I am lucky to see such great ones here : )

Jill .. it is strange how the rising sun has such a positive affect on people .. I'm glad it does : )

Such a good way to start your morning...Coffee and a sunrise. It looks good out your new door and soon you will be standing on the deck with the Benchwarmers. gail

Joy, I've been slow making my blog rounds lately but oh my, what a mess you're dealing with. Last time I was here, they were starting work and I thought hooray! Seems like that was premature. Hopefully, after these initial set backs, things will kick into high gear and you'll be back in business. I don't care for jack hammering much either so I'm right there with your cats! The tulips are gorgeous tho so that's something to be happy about. Hang in there. Everyone always says construction projects are a nightmare but usually absolutely worth it in the end. I'm sure your new deck with be amazing. Happy May Day.

And, as Little Orphan Annie always says "The sun will come out tomorrow", and by golly, it always does!

I love looking at your sunrises as all we get are great sunsets!

Gail these sunrises actually thrill me I love them so much .. even though I am more of a twilight sunset person .. yes .. now what to do with the benchwarmers ?? LOL

Hi Jen .. I was just saying in another post how we had to deal with a mama raccoon last year that set up "house" in our attic .. one year without stress would be great ?? LOL ... Yes ! the dawns are lovely to see : )

Hi Kathleen .. I hope it will all be worth it in the end : ) it is a very plain plane for the deck .. but new wood and screws, that is thrilling ?? LOL .. I'm buying plants and have no idea where I will put them ??

Giddy girl .. I'll do the sunrises and you do the sunsets ? and we'll get some pictures in between all of that too ? LOL
I love your afternoon pictures with the light glowing in the kitchen .. those are so pretty !

Beautiful, Joy. I can't wait until it warms up just a little, to be able to take a hot coffee out on the balcony before anyone else is awake. :)
