"Who let the SPRING out??"

OK .. in your head you have to hear that silly song "Who let the dogs out!" but substitute Spring and make silly bird noises ??
BECAUSE the weather is nuts and this is a false tease for our poor little garden babies !!!
Nanho Blue buddleia is still sprouting fresh foliage for heaven sake !!
See the NO snow atmosphere here ?? SCARY ... people I said SCARY !!!
Meanwhile back at the farm ... seed catalogs and brand new shoe-booties for working in the garden when I am really supposed to .. well , who can pass up rubberized PLAID ?????
... with wooly warm lining ? OK .. not the real deal wool but cozy all the same ! : )
Now where did I leave that list of garden MUST DO CHORES ...
PS .. I forgot to plant seeds last year .. and I know that there is more than just this one errant package that escaped my excitement during the WOW !! stage ?

Oh right, put that song in our heads, and then say don't think about it....ahaaaa.

"who let the ..... ACK!

Lovely to see somewhere in Canada that it's not freezing cold. But we have SUN, yes sun. We don't get that much of it during the winter, so we will put up with the cold.

Oh no Joy, now I'll have that song in my head all day!! The new leaves are STUNNING, and your new header is such a tease. We must have all your snow out here..

Wow, I turned to blue from red and you turned red from blue! I really am not a blue person, should have stayed red. Your garden looks a lot like mine right now, are we going to have a problem without the snow cover?

We got more than a foot of snow almost a week ago, but between the melting and the rain that came today, most places around here will look almost as bare and green as your area by tomorrow. It's really bad for the plants, but there's nothing you can really do about it. At least here it is supposed to get a little bit colder in the next couple of days, so hopefully most of the plants won't switch into full spring sprouting mode and then get really hurt when cold returns.

Great to hear you are having a good weather, just hope your garden doesn't go a bit crazy.
Have fun at your garden!

Great. Now I've got that song stuck in my head, Joy Dear. :) I just hope when the inclement weather does arrive it comes gently so your plants won't go in to shock or worse. Happy New Year, dear friend.

Hello Linda girl ! thank you they are a Sears special : ) YES ! I have seen white coconut falling from the skies too ! what's up with THAT ?? LOL

Jen girl .. it is also in my head now too so revenge is in hand for me starting it all ! LOL
I envy you that blue sky and sun and we would take the cold here .. that is what we are made for .. so this stuff is too weird to handle:)
Keep warm girl !

Rebecca girl .. I just couldn't resist the song or the header picture .. plus those red red hearts .. next month will be here before you know it eh ? hehehe
My nanho Blue is going to be BLUE soon .. we are dropping in temp and had a few furry white flakes eekk!

Eileen girl how funny is that ? we do the exact opposite ? I was just in the mood and had to follow through .. and I do worry about what this is going to do to our garden babies .. we have just now dropped in temp and had a flurry or two .. we need much more to tuck in the garden beds !

Cindee girl I had to do something to keep you busy with and singing that song will please Jack to no end I am sure ?? hehehe Thanks on the shoes .. they are a bit big but by the time I have socks stuffed in there ?? I will be ready !!!

RP we are falling now .. finally ... that was just too eerie with warm temps and rain for heaven sake! I half expected to see some greens poking through with this wicked weather .. fingers crossed we will go on the normal side now but not too much snow to drive us nuts !

fer I am flustered with this very unnatural weather .. but it is sliding down to our more normal side finally .. too early to have fun in the garden other than hunt plants on the net and plan !! Hope you are enjoying your plants : )

Grace girl I just dropped a note to you .. i have fallen way behind .. and then I go ahead and torture people with that silly song .. it is going around and around in my head now too so you are NOT alone!!
Happy New Year girl !!

Sandy girl they do match some of my pajamas ! I should have shown that bit ;-) haha .. a wee few flakes have fallen and it is getting cooler finally .. big sigh of relief ! Bee Balm leaves : ) ahhh I love that smell !!

It's just not fair to tease you with some milder weather.
Our thaw lasted three days but the snow is now all gone. It will be back with a vengeance I am afraid.
Some many seed catalogs to dig into. My problem is that I always want to start more seeds than I have room for. Ugh!
Thanks a lot for putting that song into my head! Now it will be rattling around in there all day. LOL!

Gail girl Happy New Year to YOU ! and thank you for the snow wishes .. the boys are a bit jumpy to say the least is right .. this is so NOT us in a state of GREEN this time of year EEEKKKKKKKK !! I have to get over to your side of the bog world and say helllooooo !

Linda girl : ) Happy NY to you too and I just know you would love these shoe-booties too ! haha

Lona girl that was the point .. drive every body a little crazy just for the fun of it ? haha
I'm not really a seed gardener .. but I love to picture the possibilities ?? wink wink

Love those boots. May I borrow them?
Hate the dog song, heard it constantly when working. Do wish someone would let Spring spring out.
