Shadow Shot Time

What happened ? ... I missed last last weekend's Shadow Shot completely because I was under the weather ? what the heck does that mean any ways ? .. I was SICK !! ugh !!! No further explanation needed right ? is that a "too much information" moment ?
So .. for this session I caught some old fashioned "Lady's Mantle" filled with water jewels and in part shade, so this seemed to fill the bill for SSS and a little extra for interest.
Tracy over at Hey Harriet has many more shadow shooters that also fill their bill with wonderful shadow shots .. so go over and have a gander ! or goose ? wink wink

I guess that too much information is really TOO much. So we will let the picture do all the talking here. And a beauty it is, the soft green that says 'spring', and the shadow that is formed from the seasonal warm solar orb. Neat, beautiful and we all hop you are better...

Hope you are felling better Joy. I have thought of you often as I planted my new Brunnera and Hellebores. I love Lady's Mantle, sometimes too many of them but I always find a little space for more.

I love how the water droplets and the shadows are so crisp and clear.

Nice photo! It has been raining and gloomy for most of the day. I went out to find some willow for a project and was nearly drowned by the downpour. Now, the sun is shining brightly and there are spots of sun and shadow glimmering on puddles. I better quit writing and get my camera!

Peace

A very pretty water shot that I seem to gravitate too. The shadow is nice too, but the drops steal the show.

Hello there Ralph : )Thank you !
Yup .. I have to watch the "too much information" bit ;-)
The garden is finally bursting forth with life and it almost seems it is racing the clock for all the wasted time .. it is amazing : )

Eileen girl thank you : )
I have to see what you have been up to with new plants especially our chared favorites. I hope they are all behaving themselves for you ! LOL

Thank you nana .. these plants were made for shots like this : )

Hello there Joe and thank you : )
It sounds like an interesting project with willow .. so much can be done with that wonderful wood.
The weather has been very fickle but hopefully Spring will settle down now ? phew !

Donna I try to get shots after the rain with this particular plant .. the tiny hairs and leaf structure is perfect for this : )

Hello chubskulit and thank you very much !

Beautiful photo, love this one. Lady's mantle is so wonderful when it's covered in water but that shadow just adds that extra touch.
