Can you spot .....

This was after a couple of rainy days .. I was awake at 5:20, but couldn't drag myself out of bed until a little after 6 .. but ? .. being up this early gave me the bonus of YES .. seeing my little bunny again.
The other bonus was seeing those bright spots of CHEERFUL yellow from my favorite Spring flower.
Can you see the bunny (upper picture) get your magnifying glass out ? LOL
Can you spot my visitor now ? .. talk about well camouflaged !
The little guy/gal just "froze" there, as I snapped some pictures and then he/she disappeared as if in a poof of smoke or from a magic hat ?
Meanwhile the garden is really coming to life .. I have a box of mail order plants to unwrap.
But .. those plants I bought before the frost ? .. annual baskets, Boston fern ... well the fern is toast.
The baskets I cut back all of the dead "stuff" and I am hoping they will come back .. geraniums mostly. Ironically the calibrachoa survived the freeze .. along with some annual verbena go figure?
That was a first for me .. losing annuals like that .. but ? no matter how long you garden there is always going to be a first some time or other .. that is life !

The rabbit looks much like the rock it is sitting beside, great cammo. I really like the view of your garden from on high. It gives a different perspective. Your garden is awakening. The daffodils look like dollops of sunshine.
We have a tiny bunny running around in our garden. Annie keeps trying to capture it. It won't last if it doesn't escape Annie's attention. I am just now taking down the cages around several plants that I have to cage to keep the rabbits from eating them during winter.

You are right. That is life.
I love the garden. What a lovely spot. I couldn't see the bunny, at first!

Hi Lisa and YES ! this little rabbit is camouflaged so well it is amazing eh ?
I wish I could get a panoramic picture of the back garden with our big maple in as well .. it is such a focal point to the back garden. I am in total love with my daffs .. I am going to plant more in the Fall because they have been so cheerful .
My hope is that your bunny will move on to another place and survive ! LOL
Spring has been so slow here but we are inching closer to full impact bit by bit.
What a year right ?

Hello Jen .. I enjoyed your photo shot of the Pheobe mum ! .. I am wondering if we have ever seen this bird, we certainly wouldn't know it unless someone pointed it out to us though.
Hope the chicks are happy and healthy !

I didn't see your bunny in the first pic but loved the second pic. Ahhh, rabbits have to eat, if I had them I'd put food out for them to save my plants...there's so much food you can buy that they can't resist. So very lovely seeing your garden come back to life. Oh...every year is so different isn't it, the known has flown out of the window.xxx

Hello there Snowbird ! .. this bunny is so well camouflaged it is really difficult to see him from the far off picture. He/she ? is very good about not eating the plants, so I wonder why he keeps coming back .. perhaps he knows it is a peaceful place and he is safe ?
I don't think most people give animals credit for having thoughts and feelings .. unless you really have them in your lives ?
Thank you about the garden .. but even after less than a week it is bursting with colour and different plants emerging finally .. you are so right about "normal" flying out the door !
Thanks for stopping by ;-)

Your garden is looking good! I've noticed that the rabbits often do not run away when I see them. Do they think they are invisible if they stand still? Or are they just not scared of me?

Hi Jason and thank you ! .. I have too many pictures and not enough time to do new posts ? LOL
The garden is just so demanding right now .. but that is what Spring-summer can be.
I think they do the almost possum thing .. if they stay very still you think they are either not there or that they are dead ? LOL .. just depends on the personality of the rabbit ?
